The mind plays a very important role in our overall wellness as well as in the healing process due, in part, to the strong mind-body connection which exists. At Tranquility Bay, we provide education and guidance to our clients through our Wellness Coaching and Joy-Based Counseling sessions. We teach many important skills that utilize this powerful mind-body connection including positive thinking, thought stopping, worry control, the use of affirmations, meditation, mindfulness, guided imagery and creative visualization all of which use the mind to promote relaxation and healing as well as a greater sense of happiness and wellbeing.
